| PROGRAM DESCRIPTION | The Postgraduate Certificate in Research Studies is a qualifying program as ‘front-on’ for research degrees for graduates from any discipline who do not have the appropriate research experience to undertake higher research degrees. It is designed for applicants who need additional skills in research in order to progress on to their research master’s or doctoral program. The applicants will learn about research methodology, and the course will also provide the required knowledge, skills and confidence to understand, evaluate and carry out research in any social setting. The Postgraduate Certificate in Research Studies is awarded upon successful completion of the first semester of the Master of Research Studies programme the students complete three compulsory modules to prepare themselves with the necessary skills to understand the practices used in research. |
